Ideas and inspo for an outdoor bub

Jibbon Head Circuit

The ferry ride over to the start of the trail is part of the adventure on this easy but stunning walk along secluded beaches, rock shelves and aboriginal engravings. But bring a hat for bub, this walk is exposed!

Lake Talooma

A circuit walk on wide service trails through beautiful bush, the Lake Talooma trail takes you past a scenic dam and through a scout camp for an interesting 5km bush fix for you and bub. With a couple of optional side tracks, you can add more variety to the walk!

Grays Point to Audley

It's a luxury when there is a cafe and picnic area halfway on a walk, especially when you can order cake and coffee to fuel the return walk up a long set of stairs! Despite the stairs, this is a pleasant 7km walk with some beautiful bush and scenery and a great halfway point for bub to have a play in the park.

Como Heritage Trail

An easy, scenic urban walk with plenty of great places for a pitstop. Multiple playgrounds, bushtrails, cafes and even a pub, it's a great mix of history, urban convenience and enough bush to get a nature fix, with lots to explore for both you and bub!

Kingfisher Pool

Kingfisher pool is a short but adventurous hike to a serene pool in Heathcote National Park. Go after some rain and watch the water cascading into the pools below over a picnic lunch.

Robertsons Roundabout

Robertson roundabout is an excellent circuit hike that takes you up a ridge with scenic views of the Hacking River and surrounding bushland of the Royal National Park. For a short hike, it packs alot in with a good variety of scenery to wow bub.

Contribute to our village

We need a village to raise bushbambino. Have a story or place to share on getting bub outdoors? Drop us a note and we'll be in touch on how to contribute.
